Acupucnture

Acupuncture Duties & Responsibilities: An acupuncturist is a complementary health practitioner who takes a holistic approach to the maintenance of health and the management of disease. The focus is on the individual rather than the illness and the aim is to improve the person's overall wellbeing. Acupuncture is an ancient therapy based on the theory that the body depends on vital energy, known as qi, being in balance. If there is pain or illness, acupuncturists see this as a sign that the body is out of balance. To correct this they insert fine needles into acupuncture points, which restore the flow of qi to then trigger the body's natural healing process. Salary: 72,000$ Education: Bachelor's degrees in acupuncture are not typically available, therefore applicants to an acupuncture program at the master's level should ideally have an undergraduate degree in a related field. Students gain critical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities through clinical rotations in areas such as immune disorders, stress and chronic pain. Add a Picture: Reflection: Do you think you would like to be one? Why?Why not? I wouldn’t mind being one its seems like an ok good relieving peoples stress or illness. Also being able to help in everyday life, making people feel better. And id be making good money. I wouldn’t want to be one because what if I mess up and don’t heal people. Also it doesn’t seem like the job for me.
