Good&Bad

Abraham Lincoln
"When I do good, I feel good.
When I do bad, I feel bad."
Having the morals to know right from wrong is a very powerful thing, and living life and treating others the way you would want to be treated yourself is a very noble thing. He expresses his way of life by doing things his way.
Example: when you donate to charity you feel good because you helped someone out thats doing&feeling good, but when you blame something on your friend and he gets in big trouble, you feel bad because hes the one whos innocent.

Obedience

                                                           Obedience
"The key to freedom is obedience. The more obedient we are, the more freedom we have"

Reflection:
This quote to me means that if you listen and pay attention and not getting into trouble means you will have freedom and by that you will be able to do what most people wont and cant do. They will be able to explore more than they already can. For example bill gates who reached his up to the top from being obedient, and listening and working his way to where he wanted to be.Now he has more freedom than most people do,he chose the right and its gotten him to where he needs to be.Obedience gets you to places than most things get u in life. Now an example of not being being obedient would be lee harvey oswald who assisinated jfk . He killed one the best presidents ever in our history, and it got him killed. He was sentenced to jail for murder. Then he got no freedom, he was later murdered for choosing the wrong, see thats why being obedient gets you places,to the peak of the mountain of success and freedom.

9/11

                                                   September 11,2001 (911)

On September 11, 2001, 19 militants associated with the Islamic extremist group al-Qaeda hijacked four airliners and carried out suicide attacks against targets in the United States. Two of the planes were flown into the towers of the World Trade Center in New York City, a third plane hit the Pentagon just outside Washington, D.C., and the fourth plane crashed in a field in Pennsylvania. Often referred to as 9/11, the attacks resulted in extensive death and destruction, triggering major U.S. initiatives to combat terrorism and defining the presidency of George W. Bush. Over 3,000 people were killed during the attacks in New York City and Washington, D.C., including more than 400 police officers and firefighters.
My first memory  9/11/01 was in 3rd grade and we stood up and we had a moment of silence to dedicate the poor men&women that lost their life in that tragic attack then we disscused about it and watched a video to remember that tragic day then everyday every year was the same thing.

Education

                                                                EDUCATION

Gordon B. Hinckley        'Education is the last latch key to success in life"

The  amount of knowledge gained through education prepares people to solve problems, teach others, function at a higher level and implement transformational ideas. Without education, one’s chances for securing a good job and ascending to a higher economic and social status are often limited. Also its a way for people to be rich& famous and to have what they need in life to say that they made it somewhere in life.

Audiologist

Audiologist Duties&Responsibilities: • Examine patients who have hearing, balance, or related ear problems • Assess the results of the examination and diagnose problems • Determine and administer treatment • Administer relief procedures for various forms of vertigo • Fit and dispense hearing aids • Counsel patients and their families on ways to listen and communicate, such as by lip reading or through American Sign Language • See patients regularly to check on hearing and balance and to continue or change the treatment plan • Keep records on the progress of patients • Conduct research related to the causes and treatment of hearing and balance disorders Audiologists use audiometers, computers, and other devices to test patients' hearing ability and balance. They work to determine the extent of hearing damage and identify the underlying cause. Audiologists measure the volume at which a person begins to hear sounds and the person's ability to distinguish between sounds. Before determining treatment options, they evaluate psychological information to measure the impact of hearing loss on a patient. Treatment may include cleaning wax out of ear canals, fitting and checking hearing aids, or fitting the patient with cochlear implants to improve hearing. Cochlear implants are tiny devices that are placed under the skin near the ear in an operation. The implants deliver electrical impulses directly to the auditory nerve in the brain, so a person with certain types of deafness can hear. Audiologists also counsel patients on other ways to cope with profound hearing loss, such as by learning to lip read or by using American Sign Language. Audiologists can help a patient suffering from vertigo or dizziness. They work with patients and provide them with exercises involving head movement or positioning that might relieve some of their symptoms. Some audiologists specialize in working with the elderly or with children. Others design products to help protect the hearing of workers on the job. Audiologists who are self-employed hire employees, keep records, order equipment and supplies, and complete other tasks related to running a business. Salary: $69,720 per year $33.52 per hour Education: Audiologists need a doctoral degree and must be licensed in all states; requirements vary by state.
